OVELLE is operated by OVELLE (independent developer-operated service). Contact: ovelleapp.support@gmail.com.
Information we process
- Account information such as email address and authentication identifiers.
- Profile information you provide, including display name, date of birth, age, gender, country/region/city, work, About Me, relationship preferences and profile photos.
- Dating activity such as likes, matches, blocks and reports.
- Messages you send to matched users, including timestamps and read status.
- Technical security information generated by our hosting/authentication provider as needed to operate and protect the service.
OVELLE currently does not request or display your precise GPS location. The location shown in the app is the country, region and city you select.
How we use information
We use data to create and secure accounts, build profiles, recommend eligible profiles, create mutual matches, deliver messages, enforce age and safety rules, process reports/blocks, provide support and comply with legal obligations.
Who can see profile information
Your age is always shown. Your birth year is not shown. You may choose whether your birthday month/day is shown. Other visible profile information and photos may be shown to eligible OVELLE users. Messages are visible only to participants in the matched conversation under our app permissions. Messages are encrypted in transit but are not represented as end-to-end encrypted.
Service providers
OVELLE uses Supabase for authentication, database, realtime messaging and file storage. Data may be processed by this provider on our behalf according to its service terms and security controls. We do not include advertising SDKs in the current launch build and we do not sell personal data.
Retention and deletion
We retain information while your account is active and as needed for safety, fraud prevention, disputes and legal obligations. You can request deletion in the app at Settings → Delete account. We also provide an external deletion path at the Account Deletion page. Deletion removes the account and associated profile, likes, matches, messages and stored profile photos from the active service, subject to any legally required or safety-related limited retention.
Safety
Users can report or block another user from profiles and conversations. Reports may be reviewed to enforce our Terms and safety standards. OVELLE is for adults age 18 and older only.
Your choices
You can edit most profile fields, control birthday month/day visibility, block users, report safety concerns, sign out and delete your account. Gender is locked after registration in the app; if it was entered incorrectly, contact support.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. We will post the revised effective date on this page.
